<strong>Wapo's Winding Web</strong>

So just as CNN has allowed itself to be used by the insurgents and terrorists, so has Wapo and all the left media and the Democrats. Great job doing the terorrists bidding guys. Outstanding.

All this election fraud garbage has been being pushed by the MSM for over two months here in NH. I will lay a huge wager that the republicans will be blamed all across this country for voter type election problems even where they are contolled by the DEMs as in past elections. Whne will this country finally pass a voter ID law that the Dems can accept? I say neva happen, how else can they get dead people and illegals to vote??? :-"

Sev, I remember that Nixon story. You're right, it's telling that someone who will go down in history as one of the most despised presidents ever demonstrated more concern for his country than today's Dems.

The Dems still capitalize on that mindset. They know that if they cheat successfully enough, the other side will accept the result. In 1960 all you had were dead people voting Democrat. Now there's the illegal alien vote, phantom voters like the ones Acorn registers, Democrats like Gore and Rendell who try to disenfranchise military voters, and a ferocious Dem opposition to any form of voter ID verification.

Until that kind of nonsense is stopped and punished severely, the voting process will be less and less credible.

Regarding the Washington state election, it was Boss Tweed who set the standard for today's Dems when he said <em>"As long as I count the votes, what are you going to do about it?"</em>

The MSM and Democrats don't seem to care that they do massive and dangerous damage to the country when they cast baseless aspersions on the results of elections just because they didn't get their way. Eroding support for and belief in the electoral process is a dangerous business, particularly when you claim voter irregularities when none exist, as the Dems are prone to do. They also seem to scream the loudest when their attempts at voter fraud are unsuccessful, I guess they figure if they scream it will distract attention from their vote counting and registration irregularities (Washington State Governor Election Anyone?)

When presented with pretty firm proof of Democrat voter fraud that cost him the 1960 election to Kennedy (and who Kennedy sent his brother Robert to investigate, talk about the fox and the henhouse), Nixon was pressured by his advisors to contest the election. His response was that he felt that it would be too damaging to the country, despite the fact that it might have landed him in the White House.

Who would have thought that Nixon would care more about the country and be more honorable than the average losing Democrat of today, particularly "Recount till I win" Gore.
