Its their right to say whatever the hell they want and it our right not to want to hear their music and pay good money for their concerts. When their manager, british I might add, was on Hannity and colmes, Sean tried to get that point across to the moonbat, he tried over and over to say they had a right to say what they said but the fans have rights too, also they pissed the country fan base off, the very people who helped get em where they are, well, used to be. The other two lied to okra winfrey about not being mad at her for opening her big pie hole up, they gotta be pissed deep down, maines has cut into their bottom line big tiem, but frankly my dear, I don’t give a shit. lets, all three of them.

Now let me get this straight

First, it was FReepers and their “Hate List” that caused the Chick’s gaping hole below the waterline, ticket and CD sales-wise.

That hasn’t worked, so now it’s NBC’s fault???

Maybe, if one of the other Chicks had stuck an apple in Natalie’s sow-ish, moronic maw, there would have been no “Cause” to create the “Effect” that has brought about their present Third-World, Skid-Row financial dire straits?

Sort of reminds me of the recent family quarrel between ABC and congressional Democrats over The Path to 9/11, where Democrats threatened to yank ABC’s broadcast license. In that case (and this one, too) you wish that there was a way for both sides to lose.

Keep in mind that in both cases it was a fight between fellow Stalinists and not a “battle over free speech”. As such it will be papered over soon enough, and both NBC and the Dixie Chix will go back to their regular gig of Bush-hating.

Still, I take cold comfort in seeing – once again – the huge cracks in Democratland that exist just below the carefully spun surface.
