So much for conservatives being “tough on crime.”

I saw the 22 still on another website and this man looks crazy! What is it about crazy people that look like this Stark?

I haven’t commented on this, but I’ve been quietly working some emails (with little result) trying to get to the bottom of it.

As you may or may not know, an activist/protestor (the left says he’s just a regular constituent…yeah, like Oswald wa…

- Those sorts of people are of no help to the more extreme pols in our midst. They can’t be manipulated with any assurance. The reasons they vote, one way or another, are generally so superficial, theres no “There” there, to play on. Many will vote simply because they “like” the candidate, such as Arnold here in Cal. They have not a clue as to the persons politics. He or she could be an Illegal alien wanted for serial killing, and they’d never have the foggiest notion.

- The surprise the Left didn’t anticipate, a surprise since they lack political experience, was the rise in the “Independent” voter block. They keep alienating that group, and it keeps hurting them over and over. Moreover, it doesn’t look any better for the future because Independents hate the whole panalope of soft Marxist Socialism, Class and Race warfare, and despise the basic “dependency metality” like poison.

- I don’t think there’s any way the Left can ever reconcile it’s basic “Utopian” group-think tenents with that fierce Independent thinking, but I suppose they have to try, because sans that, they have zero hope of attaining any sort of majority.

Reading comments like yours gives me hope, that’s for sure. I have people in my family (well, not my family technically, but my husband’s family, so you get the idea) who still turn on NBC or ABC and think, “This is the news. It must all be true.”

They don’t read anything on the Internet — and, heaven help them if they read the local paper here! I fear that the people who are deciding things for all of us are going to be people like my in-laws who only watch Katie Couric — when they’re not watching Survivor or American Idol, that is!

I’ll tell you something: I consider myself a pretty nice person, but people like this guy are causing me to have some profoundly un-nice thoughts. I read Byron York’s column on this same topic earlier on National Review, and here’s my conclusion:

The media is getting worse and worse — I know, as if that’s possible. But they’re becoming more and more complicit in letting characters like this deliver their nasty messages and then turning their heads — as if they don’t see a thing. The media, innocent as they are, have no idea how this bile ended up in their hands or on the front pages of their papers. But, what do you know, there it is! And, of course, it always manages to smear the same side of the bagel.

If we let these guys win — this election day or any other — it’s only going to empower them and cause them to believe that what they’re doing is effective (and, as ST says, the end always justifies the means with the media and the Democrats).

Vote as if your way of life depends on it.

I’ve known this for a long time. It’s a lack of perspective, common sense and the ability to reason about what solutions would bring what results. For them they “feel” so righteous in their cause that they “feel” that what they are doing is not wrong. It’s sick. Many leftists have a mental disease I believe. They are allowed to spike trees which hurts loggers. They are allowed to yell down conservative speakers at college campuses. I could go on with a long list. And fellow conservatives let me be clear, there are some things that conservatives do that isn’t right either but the majority of bullying, lying, accusations come from the left. People on the left… I suggest you get your house in order. Call these people to task for THEIR BEHAVIOR. THEIR BEHAVIOR is UNACCEPTABLE.

I wouldn’t have this man in my house for dinner. Not because of his political views but because he is unstable and thinks that his behavior was acceptable.
