Vote Democrat: The Terrorists Will Thank You Later

Posted by: Brian on November 3, 2006 at 9:55 am

And by “thank you”, I mean blow the crap out of you.

Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday’s midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party’s position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.

The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are “tired.”

They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.

They said a withdrawal would also embolden their own terror groups to enhance “resistance” against Israel.

“Of course Americans should vote Democrat,” Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, told WND.

“This is why American Muslims will support the Democrats, because there is an atmosphere in America that encourages those who want to withdraw from Iraq. It is time that the American people support those who want to take them out of this Iraqi mud,” said Jaara, speaking to WND from exile in Ireland, where he was sent as part of an internationally brokered deal that ended the church siege.

See, this is what conservatives have been saying for what, the past four or five years? And each time we mention it, the Democrats go nuts. Well, here’s proof: terrorists are thrilled with the idea of a Democrat-controlled Congress, because that means they can get back to the business of blowing up buildings, cars, and cutting off the heads of the non-believers.

I’ve also posted more about this at my blog here.

Amy also has a pretty good post on this, too, so go check it out.

That’s certainly one way to take it. I read it a bit differently. To me it’s like the pre 04 message from BL, it basically said the same thing and served to increase the vote for W. This may in fact be what they want. Keep in mind that W is the poster child for these radicals. He represents everything they hate about the west and they use him for generating more recruits, money and hatred. Why would they want him gone or tied up with a dem congress? Don’t forget, these people want war and to them W is the key to getting it.

MrGone wrote, “He represents everything they hate about the west…

That’s “a” opinion. I differ slightly. Islmofascists are clear about what they hate about the west. Freedom, Hollywood, debauchery, revealing clothing, and much more that I didn’t name. They do also hate Bush. They hated Clinton (they stated as much in their declarations of war against us before Bush came into office).

SURE they would love an appeaser type to take office. They would love us to submit, “negotiate” with them, conduct dialog, etc. Legitimacy would make them “feel” good. But it’s the wrong kind of foreign policy at the wrong time. Islamofascism needs to be defeated. It’ll be a decades long struggle. They need to moderate and adopt a new philosophy that doesn’t include subjugating those who don’t believe in Allah. This GWOT will be waged on many fronts for a long time and Bush has said as much in the first few weeks, months and years after 9/11. Liberals on the other had wanted to limit engagement to a war in Afghanistan. Liberals have taken disagreement to accusations of “war criminal”, “lies”, “blood for oil” etc instead of having politics stop at the waters edge have emboldened and given aid and comfort to the enemy and made the enemy feel like they can make us submit. Given their confidence the struggle will last MUCH longer. Liberals have caused more suffering by making this conflict last longer.

Mr Gone wrote, Why would they want him gone or tied up with a dem congress?

They might have two schools of thought. They want him gone because they ARE mad about his way of GWOT having many fronts and taking the fight to them. But they do like having propaganda from leftists and being able to recruit with that propaganda. Look at Al Jazeera and see what they play. They do play lots of leftists own words to recruit more jihadists.

MrGone incorrectly concluded, “Don’t forget, these people want war and to them W is the key to getting it.

No. They want the world to submit to Islam. They want the Islamic Caliphate. They want Sharia law. They want to kill the infidel and rid this world of the freedom, debauchery, Hollywood, feminism, revealing clothes, temptation etc. The funny thing for you leftists is they want to eradicate you.

  3. - Actually Bak, the deepest held delusion of the Lefturds is that their Jihadi brothers would welcome them with open arms, if the Islamonuts win out.

    - History, of course, shows just the opposite. The moment the tyrants march in, the “elite” are the first to be lined up against the wall and shot.

    - The Left always picks up the narrative AFTER Marx became the darling of the “workers paradise”, and Socialism. They seem to never bother reading what happened to all his supporters, and political competitors, BEFORE the revolution. But then that wouldn’t fit in the carefully selected script. the typical propaganda hogwash from the “sureality based community”.

    - Bang **==

    Shoulda known better…

  5. Baklava says:

None of what I said makes sense MrGone? You disagree with my interpretation of the Islamofascists desires?

  6. MrGone says:

Baklava, I was more responding to the posts that infer any opposing opinion or idea HAS to be wrong, and stupid. I am constantly amazed at the number of people who have an exclusive path to the “truth.”

As far as the Islamic Caliphate stuff goes, some there may believe this is the way but I would suggest most don’t. My take on our present predicament is that it has been a long time coming. We have been kicking around in their sandbox for over 50 years, setting up and supporting all manner of dictators. Bin Laden is also a clear example of US policy gone bad. Oh, I almost forgot, Saddam too eh? Yes, if you must ask, I think we, the US, bear some responsibility for this. Moreover, we continue to support repressive regimes throughout the region (e.g. Pakistan, Turkey, SA…). This also feeds the resentment and hatred. The bottom line is that we are there for only one reason – oil. Now you may think that’s ok, part of our national security strategy etc, but you must admit that this is THE reason. And as long as we’re there, these guys will be coming after us. So what to do? Can we win? I submit we can’t. We can’t beat people who are being oppressed. They simply have nothing to lose. We can’t beat an idea. Every war from the US revolution to Vietman proves this. I guess I should correct myself, we will eventually “win” or at least declare “victory” and leave the region, once the last barrel of oil is pumped from the ground. Then, the GWOT will end.

This is not a just war. America hasn’t had a just war since WWII. It has always been about US hegemony. I guess now people will start with the “why do you hate America.” What I’m talking about is not America, it is the American government. The people are truly benevolent. The government is truly belligerent.

So, glad to make your day by giving you so much to prove me wrong about. But remember, these are my opinions. I don’t claim to have a lock on the “truth.” I am certainly open to correction, I just haven’t seen anything yet to change my mind.

  7. Baklava says:

MrGone wrote, “that infer any opposing opinion or idea HAS to be wrong, and stupid.

I know. It is human nature to react to those messages negatively instead of trying to open up to the fact that the opposing opinion may be incorrect. I do it myself. But I do hope you can get past some of the bickering type language and open up to some of the messages. There are valid points made.

MrGone wrote,“As far as the Islamic Caliphate stuff goes, some there may believe this is the way but I would suggest most don’t.

So true. There isn’t unamious thought in Islam thank God. There is only a percentage whatever that percentage is. However there are 100 fronts on this Globar War on Terror and all 100 fronts are dealing with the threat that we can’t put our head in the sand to (my belief). It exists.

MrGone wrote, “My take on our present predicament is that it has been a long time coming.

    We agree.

MrGone wrote, “I think we, the US, bear some responsibility for this.

OK. Boom. We accepted. Now what do we do moving foward. It’s been said that we bear some responsibility 1,000 times by 1,000 differnt people. Where does that get us. We need to fight this GWOT and we need to fight it on 100 different fronts and the way conservatives see it is there is a threat posed by extremists who will not quit until we submit or die. It seems the way many liberals see it is that there really isn’t a threat and we don’t need the tools that are “legal” yet liberals say are “illegal” (remember NY Times just admitted SWIFT wasn’t illegal and they shouldn’t have published it. People misstate terrorist surveillance and domestic surveillance and enemy communications during wartime is legal no matter how many times liberals say it isn’t.

MrGone wrote, “Moreover, we continue to support repressive regimes throughout the region (e.g. Pakistan, Turkey, SA…).

Yes. It’s easy to be armchair president and be negative. But what are our options. My opinion is that we should work with Pakistan and Turkey. Fairly regressive yet moderate compared to other extremist nations should he worked with to promote good faith instead of “making more terrorists”. Liberals like to point out that we make more enemies. Well that’s what we would do if we see a regressive nation and treat them as an enemy.

Your sentence after that sentence was, “This also feeds the resentment and hatred.

I’m sorry…forgive me for finding that so funny. Supporting regressive regimes like Turkey and Pakistan feeds the resentment and hatred… I could care less if extreme Islamofascists who have extreme hate feel more hate. They need to be defeated. If by “feeds the resentment and hatred” you mean the moderates are becoming more hateful then what do you propose? Not supporting and/or treating them as an enemy? I believe we need to support them and try to gain allies there. Again.. archair president is easy sometimes.

MrGone then wrote, “The bottom line is that we are there for only one reason – oil.

Sounds like you should vote Republican. The Republican energy plan had over 100 items in it with more than half as conservation measures and yes drilling in ANWR to gain more self reliance. Drilling in ANWR puts a footprint similar to a postage stamp on a football field. It’s common sense. Conservation is common sense. Demagoguery is not common sense. This country should do more uniting and less armchair presidenting and being so judgmental and critical. These islamofascist thugs mean business… They do. And energy is required to keep the economy going. The more economic growth the more energy required unless conservation exceeds growth.

MrGone wrote, “And as long as we’re there, these guys will be coming after us.

This is a factor as they have said. But they have also talked about debauchery, homosexuals, Hollywood, being unbelievers, etc. Imagine if we just didn’t need Middle East Oil all of a sudden. We didn’t pay them because we didn’t need them. No more natural resource for us. No more money for them. Utopia huh? I don’t think so. The underlying hate is not just because we pay them for a natural resource. Saudi Arabia is somewhat stable due to their need for our money due to their natural resource. Sure they have a regressive system and treat women like dirt. Does that mean we take away the one thing that adds to security (the business relationship). The PROBLEM lies in the fact that some of these people who receive the money are using the money not for their people but to perpetuate hatred in schools and BUY weapons… That is unacceptable and must be stated so and made CLEAR.

In armchair president style (pardon my humor – it makes a point) MrGone wrote, “Can we win? I submit we can’t.

I don’t submit. I believe we can. You have an opinion but that opinion shouldn’t translate to national policy and I’m glad it doesn’t. What is your plan actually? A belief that they will leave us alone after they incinerated 3,000 people within an hour just because we leave a country? Pardon me but I do find that logic laughable. Please don’t take the opposing view hard…

Mr Gone wrote, “We can’t beat an idea.

We beat imperalism of Japan and nationalism of Germany. Those ideas were defeated.

MrGone wrote, “America hasn’t had a just war since WWII.

Not Haiti? How about Yugoslavia? Are M Albright and B Clinton war criminals? I don’t think so. I disagreed with our “rush” to Yugoslavia but I don’t think Bill operated illegally and even though there was tens of thousands of refugees and thousands killed I haven’t called Bill or Madeliene names like liberals do daily or assert that they don’t “care” about innocent lives…

MrGone wrote, “The government is truly belligerent.” The people get the government they deserve. We have voted for spending increases by this government (more goodies) every year for over 6 decades. We have voted for politicans who bicker instead of helping with self reliance and conservation. We have voted for Democrats and Republicans who have voted for the war. There were 4 administrations and Congresses who funded Vietnam. It wasn’t one administration or one Congress. My point? You can’t separate the people and government like that so easily. Who would be your ideal candidate? Dennis Kucinich? Barbara Lee? Being funny again but I would like an answer.

  8. Great White Rat says:

To quote me from my comment on this last night in the FYI thread:

Now there’s an endorsement I’m sure every Dem will be putting in their ads during the final campaign weekend, huh?

So much for the idea that being in Iraq creates terrorists, and if we just run to Okinawa they’ll all go home and leave us alone.

So if Mr.Gone is correct, it logically follows that we should see such ads from the Dems this weekend. After all, this would confirm their world view that the islamofascists are peaceful and America is the outlaw.

I’m betting that doesn’t happen. Anyone want to bet against me?

  9. tom says:

You forgot to include Jaaras closing statement:

“Bush is a sick person, an alcoholic person that has no control of what is going on around him. He calls to send more troops but will very soon get to the conviction that the violence and terror that his war machine is using in Iraq will never impose policies and political regimes in the Arab world.”

  10. Great White Rat says:

    tom,

Interesting point. What’s really intriguing is how often you can’t tell the difference between what the terrorists say and what the current Dem leadership says.

For anyone who’s thinking of voting Democrat this Tuesday, here’s the question that ought to make you stop in your tracks and think hard: exactly why would implacable America-hating terrorists want the Democrats to win so desperately?

  11. tom says:

GWR – because they think, with the Dems in control, they have a better chance at what they see as an imposing superpower getting out of the “Arab World”. Which is exactly what we should do, IMO. I think it’s fair to say they don’t like Democrats any more than Republicans, to them we’re all just Americans meddling in their affairs.

I think Brians’s statement that they are “thrilled with the idea of a Democrat-controlled Congress” is so much hyperbole, as well as your that theyre “desperate” for the Dems to win. What is this, the Limbaugh-Hannity hour?

  12. Baklava says:

tom wrote, “Which is exactly what we should do, IMO

World stability and energy needs for civilization be damned?

SECONDLY, but most importantly, that thought is so 9/10. We are in a GWOT exactly because we can’t sit and be attacked again and again. Your thinking to us is dangerous. This is not saying you aren’t patriotic. It’s a difference of opinion. Unfortunately for our side the difference of opinion has led to calls of incompetence, war criminal, lies, etc. The left will learn one day how to debate but in the mean time they give aid and comfort to the enemy with their extremist rhetoric. They repeat the war crime and illegal charges in their propoganda. And leftists continue anyway.

tom wrote, “to them we’re all just Americans meddling in their affairs.

I disagree. They know very well who is calling for us to redeploy due to the deaths. They see the debate very clearly and even repeat Democratic talking points. It is strategy on their part and leftists feed it.

Tom wrote, is so much hyperbole,

Opinions based on facts. Don’t like the opinion? That’s ok.
