Well, I’m going to wrap up my blogging here for the day. I’ve been blogging at both sites today, and it’s a lot harder than I thought it would be. lol
I’ve been trying to keep on top of the comments that get stuck in moderation, but I think I may have accidentally marked a few as spam. Whoops! In my defense, I’m a noob with Word Press (actually, not really…but it’s been quite a long time since I last used it).
If I deleted your comment, all I can say is SORRY! As you can clearly see, I’ve let quite a few…shall we say, interesting…comments appear, so it’s not like I’m censoring anybody. ![]()
I’ll be checking in from time to time to see what comments/trackbacks need to be released. I’ll be back to blogging here first thing in the morning, so make sure to check back.
Consider this another open post, and feel free to leave feedback about how you think I did today. Go ahead, I can take it. ![]()
Also, if I may plug myself a bit, I may be on BBC Radio tonight. Go here for the details. Evidently, since Bush was in Iowa today, the Brits think that makes me an expert on the mid-term elections. lol
Update: I did make it onto the program last night. You can listen to it here. Fast forward to 19:10:40. ![]()

You did fine Brian.
Haven’t seen any real problems, no rants and raves, swearing, ect.
You had mentioned earlier about there may be a libeal crowd from salon and kos beating down our doors with nastiness, but so far I have seen just been some spirited discussions, so if they have been nastiness behind the scene it looks as if you took care of it right quick.
Keep up the good work.
No, I didn’t block them. I’m as surprised as anyone, really, that we didn’t see that many come in. I guess it’s still early. Probably be here tomorrow.
I’m sure we’ll be ready for ‘em, though. =D
Thanks again!
To All:
Be alerted of this information that I have received from a friend of mine, it seems that the Liberals are being very sneaky.

In other strange election news, I’ve come across a very interesting tactic. The Democrat gubernatorial candidate has spent a great deal of money on a mail-out flyer disparaging, not the Republican incumbent who is leading him in the polls, but an obscure write-in candidate. “Hmmm,” I thought to myself. “Why would they waste their money to run against a write-in candidate that no one knows?”
Then I read the flyer. It said things like, “Write-In-Candidate would build a fence on the border and halt all illegal immigration,” and “Write-In-Candidate would vote to lower all taxes and cut state spending by 1/3.”
Now having lived in Texas for awhile, I think I can speak for the majority when I say that these are not exactly the issues that would cause the population to flock en masse to the Democrat Party. So why would the Democrat draw attention to the fact that he wouldn’t reduce taxes or curb illegal immigration? It took me an embarrassingly long three minutes to figure out that he was trying to split the vote between the Write-In-Candidate and Rick Perry.
And why not? It’s not like anyone in politics ever engages in anything dishonest.

- actually Phil, that was the same approach the LeftLoons were hoping for in CT. But when Lieberman switched to Independent, it all blew up in their cute little moonbat faces. But it was too late to stop by then. Now they’re down to taking the position that: “Oh well, it doesn’t matter because Joe will caucus with the Democrats anyway”… Un huh….. after what the Libtard left did to him he’ll be hugging them at every opportunity. Riiiiiiiigggghhhtttt…..

- And Brian, let me welcome you to ST’s little piece of the Blogosphere….You’re doing a great job…. hope I didn’t leave too many tinhat bodies in that last thread….

Actually, I rather enjoyed it. You guys kept it civil and it was a lively debate. The lefties I get at my site are foaming-at-the-mouth types that rapidly get out of control, and I don’t have the time to deal with them, not the readership like ST does to help control them. lol
I just let them say what they’re gonna say (I do delete the vulgar ones) and let them prove my points for me.
Thanks for the nice comments. I’m having fun with this. Nice to actually write for a full house for a change.
Brian, I concur completely with Bang. You’ve been an excellent house-sitter. Plenty of solid posts and spot-on commentary on each. Exactly what we’re used to here. Thanks for running the show!
Now go get some sleep.
Thanks!
On the article in MILITARY magazines that lefties are so gleeful about in a time of war…. One Democrat Rob at Say Anything talks about it.
While I’d agree with Rob’s last paragraph, I also could go either way because the lies of the left are NOT making the case and Mr. Rumsfeld is quite capable but a new man might make things slightly better or worse but sometimes good men need a break from the grind.
NY Times inadvertantly admits Iraq was a nuclear leader.
Doin’ my paperwork and stuff for my business today. I got a notice in the mail stating that Governor Arnold signed into law on 9/12/2006 that the minimum wage in CA is $7.50 per hour on 1/1/2007 and $8.00 per hour on 1/1/2008.
Just so you all know…
