I’m glad you brought that up. What I do whenever I hear a report like this from the media, is I automatically assume it’s spin and/or outright lies. I look up the “story behind the story”, because with the media’s record of bias towards the left, I simply don’t believe what they’d have us believe. I do a little research to see what was really said, what’s behind the claims, etc.

Now we know why media outlets like the NYTs and MSNBC aren’t doing very well, because they can no longer get away with the lies and the spin they used to. Twenty years ago, if they said something, we had to accept that it was true, because we didn’t have Rush, we didn’t have the internet, and we certainly didn’t have FOX…we didn’t have any way to verify that what we were being told was true.

It’s a whole new world, and I don’t think it’s an accident that Democrats have been on the run since 1994, when all of this stuff started to take off.

I am so sick of the Rumsfeld bashing. I love Rummy almost as much as W and I think it is disgraceful how he has been maligned.

Another thing we don’t hear is exactly how any of our efforts have been a disaster. It must be due to the deaths. Golly, deaths in a war? Whoever heard of such a thing?

I have heard of zero scandals involving Rumsfeld! Has any other Secretary of Defense been appointed to that office with the breadth of experience and intellect (Princeton graduate) as Rumsfeld could boast?

There are some in the military that hate Rumsfeld. Do you know why? Because, even while leading our military during a time of war he has been in charge of a wide sweeping reorganization of the Military and some old generals have had their toes stepped on because they wanted to defend the old guard and were unable and/or unwilling to adapt.

Should he resign? Hell no! He deserves our respect and should be honored by every American for his selfless and valiant service to the United States of America!
