- The shuffling discontent of a washed up Liberal hack, bereft of all the good he ever did by his own stubborn refusal to admit he jumped the shark, Rather talks every midnight with Edward R. Murrow, who cradles him in his lap, until the shaking stops. I’m sure Ed was right beside Rather during the interview, whispering words of support. Nothing like abdurantly insisting on proving you’re a partisan, biased, and anything but objective, old school mentality Liberal journalist whack-job, to the entire country over and over and over.

- Seems to me that is the generally accepted definition of lunacy, doing the same thing repeatidly, expecting a different outcome.

- Maybe we should set up a charity to build a home for VietNam reprobate Leftnutz. I’m sure Rather and Jhimmi would have a lot of fun sitting in rockers and reminising about the “good old activist” days.

When this whole story hit the fan originally, I was working as a consultant at a NIJ forensics lab. The local forensic document specialist held forth one day in no uncertain terms just what he thought of both the documents and the “professionals” CBS claimed had validated them. Not language you can use in mixed company, he had less than no respect for the examiners and said that anyone should be able to tell they were forgeries by the naked eye, for the reasons that the bloggers documented so well. This document expert was one of the better and more respected ones in the country. If Rather is still saying this is true, he’s either lying thru his teeth or so senile and delusional he should be institutionalized.

Forged, they aren’t forged! They simply used a very early, top secret version of Microsoft Word to produce those documents… On a laptop computer, that hadn’t been invented yet… Using a font that hadn’t been designed yet. Yeh, that must be it!

Well, except for the lies, it’s all absolutely true. I really am unable to get a handle on Rather and Mapes – they can’t really be so self deluded that they believe the story, can they? It seems obvious to me that they are willfully lying, yet is it at all possible that they are sincere?

I have always thought Krauthammer’s coining of Bush Derangement Syndrome was a cute commentary but is there some psychological dysfunction at work here? Seriously? The leftist landscape is littered with wrecked personalities that can best be described as insane.

Unbelievable, except it’s all too believable. Rather and Kerry are cast in the same elitist, we’re better than you, being a liberal means never having to say you’re sorry (or even realize you’re wrong apparently). It’s the same BS, we can’t be wrong, facts don’t apply to us, blah blah blah. The surest sign of a narcissistic personality disorder is on display in spades with these two. Like children, no matter what they’re shown, it isn’t true! But you said I could stay up late. No I didn’t. But you did! More proof that liberals are like children, and that Pelosi’s promise that if the Dems win it’ll be putting children in the drivers seat.
