Yes, exactly. I play no favorites. I was embarrassed by the fact that there are no claims of voter fraud after this election. At some point we have to stop being so selective in our criticism. Wrong is wrong, no matter who is guilty.
I think it is time for all Americans to stop taking sides and admit that our govermnemt is not working for us, but rather seeking power, which we all know, translates to $$’s.

I think it is funny that when the Republicans won by a narrow margin, Sean Hannity called it a “mandate.” However, now that the dems have won, he is afraid the win will be “misinterpreted” as a mandate. I think the next two years will be filled with this type of hypocrisy. It would be nice if we would just comment on the justness of soneone’s actions rather than pretending that one group is right and the other wrong. No party holds a market on integrity.

You know, I never liked the idea of “outing” people against their consent, no matter what the motives. Bill Maher is heaping much worse unto him than he thinks.

Without defending Mr Maher, the rumor that Mr Mehlman is homosexual has been floating around out there (pun intended) for quite a while now. I’ve seen it on the web several times before this.

I can’t stand to listen to him and wonder if he will get around to “outing” all his moombat friends, no, its just the right he is going after … what does that tell ya, washed up comedian, plain and simple.
His party is spose to be the tolerant ones, yeah, what a friggin joke.

Some of you may not be aware, but Bill Maher started out as a comedian. No, really. It’s true. I know, I can’t hardly believe it myself. I can’t for the life of me ever remember him ever making me laugh, and I used to watch Politically Incorrect. But that’s what I keep hearing about him.

In any case, Maher is typical of so many on the left who condescend to the rest of the world since, hey, he’s got it all down to a tee. You know that tribute to Rummy that Ferguson ran? That was Maher he drew on that pad. Maher’s a smug S.O.B. of epic proportions. A classic case of “how did THAT guy get there?” NO talent, NO sense, NO respect for opinions that differ from his. Loser. And here’s a little secret just for you all: I don’t like him.

Honestly, some people lack a heart, a soul or any sense of decency. Bill Maher, clearly, is one of them.

Here’s the most telling story I can relay about the hard-core liberals that I’ve known: When I was in college studying journalism, I was a pretty middle-of-the-road person. And, honestly, I kept my political beliefs to myself. I wasn’t even interested in sharing that sort of thing at that age.

Most of my friends had no idea whether I was Republican, Democrat, independent, etc. And that was fine with me. I knew what my liberal friends were, because they would frequently talk and/or lecture on being pro-choice, pro-welfare, etc. Again, I let them talk or rant and then would move on to another subject.

After a period of time, invariably, one or another of them would say, “Hey, Beth, come to think of it, I don’t know what you believe or how you vote, if you vote. So… what are you?”

When I would tell them I was Republican, they’d start to lecture me. “How could you?,” one of them actually screamed at me (and this was my best friend from high school). Another one said, “I can’t believe I’ve been friends with you all this time. You betrayed me!” Another one, no joke, asked me if I was raised by Evangelicals or something (I’m Catholic, as if that matters).

And, yes, they were all serious. In each case, the person eventually started “acting normal” around me again — as if we were still buddies and nothing strange had ever happened. As long as I live, though, I’ll never forget the lessons I learned from my “tolerant” liberal friends.

This is just one more example of the disgusting nature of the far left. They do these things because they have the stereotype that we are the homophobes. Most conservatives that I know including myself, don’t really care what adults do in the privacy of their own bedroom. We don’t care if someone is homosexual or not, but we don’t want others pushing their lifestyle on us and our children. The reason that the left does these things, is because they have been raised with a guilt complex that determines everything that they do and everything they are. So they are continually attempting to appease that guilt. Therefore, they have to create programs like affirmative action, create wealth distribution systems and the like. It is true liberalism (leftism) is a mental illness.

ST – This, and your previous post on Rangel, is just the tip of the iceburg of the all out meltdown I expect to be seeing splashed across the papers and TV sets of the ambulance chasing media as the hard left starts to realize thier political boat has sailed. It will get widespread coverage, but their antics will just cause lots of deepening silence from the Dem party, as they steadily distance themselves from the fevor swamps. If you saw Rahm Emanuel on FOX today, he “officially” cut the hard Left lose, saying very clearly that the “[Tuesday] win was a mandate for reasonable, moderate, “centrist” politics, and that the Democratic party is going to work hard for all Americans, rejecting the extreme on both sides”. The Left side of the blogosphere is already screaming.
