Nothing like having to give away the farm just to cover the obnoxious actions of the nitwits in your own party. - On a related note, Chaffee, after losing to a more honest Democrat than himself, running as a Republican, since there's no box on the ballots for "RINO", has said he will be considering switching parties. Now there's a surprise. - Steele will be a good selection, and keeps him in the chase for '08. He's shown what he's capable of, by coming from behind with a double digit deficit, in a race he assumed at the last minute, and coming within a hair of pulling it out.
