Hi ya’ll!

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on November 24, 2006 at 5:15 pm

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Mine was awesome. I wish holidays lasted longer! Been spending the last couple of days with family doing a little Christmas decorating and out enjoying the weather (it’s nice here after a couple of nasty rainy days earlier this week). I’ll be back to blogging sometime tomorrow.

Consider this the Friday and weekend open thread.

    - WalMart and Macy’s decided they couldn’t afford Secular Progressiveness. The “reality based” community just got a leasson in “real” reality. No wonder they hate the “free market” so much.

By the looks of the shopping centers here there goes the dems therory of a BAD ECONOMY. Wonder what these moonbats will come up with when the numbers are released? The weather here in Alabama was balmy and us idiot Christian rednecks were out in droves shopping till we litterly dropped and when I had to top off my tank the gas at Racetrack hadn’t skyrocketed like dire preditions.
Hope yall all had a great Thanksgiving and don’t forget our troops during this holdiay season. Go onto web sites and write them, I feel they could use our support now more than ever. **==

Drewsmom, the MSM will claim that it was the Democrats’ economic policies that have created the current wave of prosperity.

Make that “promise of the Democrats’ economic policies”, since the Thousand-Year Democratic Reich will not actually begin for another few weeks. But as far as the MSM is concerned, it’s never too early to begin their trademark disinformation cycle for the 2008 campaign.

On a related note: an interesting article by Dick Morris and Eileen McGann about the new Democratic majority. While I disagree with their analysis of the Republican Party (the GOP is as fractured as the Democrats, not to mention the lack of will to lead that seems to be part of the GOP’s political DNA) they have pointed out what is likely to be the only “accomplishment” the Democrats will have to show in 2008 – a seemingly endless cycle of political witch hunts.

Q: Will Republicans have the courage to remind voters in 2008 that Democrats took power with no plans whatsoever about Iraq, the War on Terror, Social Security, earmarks, ethics reform, etc.?

A: No. The next time the GOP holds Democrats responsible will also be the first.
