1. Just which laws — state or federal — would protect any form of identity theft? And what is discriminatory about terminating a fraudulent employment agreement?
2. Wouldn’t this fall in the purview of the committees that oversee immigration and/or labor — to stretch a point, even whatever committee that oversees equal opportunity — rather than homeland security?

I think Bennie Thompson just opened himself up to possible charges of obstruction of justice.

- Rep. Bennie Thompson is blowing hot air, just to look good to his minority/business supporters, and he knows it. It is a Federal crime to have any sort of forged papers in your possesion. It is an even bigger offense to use forged documents for any sort of legal identification with the express intent of defrauding.

- In point of fact, even before the Feds started to move on employers, it would have been perfectly within the local law enforcements rights to do so. He probably has a gaggle of angry, scared business owners breathing down his neck.

- This is the sort of thing you can expect, after years of not enforcing the law.

Immigration and the WOT are my only issues and I’m not holding my breath waiting for the dems to do a damn thing about either one and I’m not sure my own party cares about immigration , it just makes me so angry.
