The sad thing is, the GOP seems ot be trying to get even more of themselves thrown out of office with statements like this:

Mike Pence (R-Ind.), usually a reliable conservative firebrand. “Contrary to popular belief, members of Congress are human beings. They have a certain shelf life and a certain amount of energy to be drawn on. We’re tired.”

I am assuming we can expect Pence’s resignation now?

Didn’t they just get back from some sort of “break”?

And they are “tired” already?

It sounds to me like the GOP party is going to continue to lose if they keep with this attitude.

Tired? From what? Getting paid too much to do too little? Campaigning on promises and lacking the guts to make them happen? Taking on mean ol’ Democrats who were in the minority?

I want a refund. Since you guys are refusing to do any meaningful work, I think it’s time you declined to take your paychecks. And for that matter, perhaps you ought to refund the pay you’ve received over the past couple of years since you didn’t do jack then either. Give it back to us. Lord knows we’re going to need it when the Democrats come rolling into Washington with their hands out for pet social programs.

Let’s put this into an illegal immigration quote that makes sense: The troops are doing the jobs that no one else wants to do or will do.

How about you give THEM a pay raise and quit griping how your just too tired and get your ass back to work for what your paid to do. If you can’t do that, then you need to quit or be fired so we can get someone in there TO DO THEIR JOB!!
