Obviously a scary time right now for the Johnson family. Keep ‘em in your prayers.

Update: Allah’s saying that Fox News is reporting that a Johnson spokesman is denying he had either a heart attack or a stroke.

Thur AM Update: Senator Johnson is in critical condition after undergoing emergency brain surgery last night.

Sounds like a very small incident. He should be back to work soon.

Sounds so far at least what is often characterized as a “mini” stroke, or transient ischemic event. While these can be severe, and often portend further problems, quite often these are mild, limited, and have no further issues. Let’s hope it’s the latter, having a stroke and being trapped in your own mind/body or suffering mental issues is a horrible fate for anyone.

My Grandmother died from excessive stokes. After a month of having them daily she didn’t recognize anyone in the family. :( It was a very hard year that year. – Lorica

Seems the medical professionals disagree with Sen. Johnson’s spokes people:

After hearing how Harry Reid acted in not talking about Johnson’s condition after leaving his hospital room, I’d say Johnson won’t be a Senator for quite some time.

I am miffed at the press for playing more politics rather than any real concern for Johnson.

I have one question, will any Democrats decry keeping Johnson on life support as they did Terry Schiavo?

Only if they won’t let him vote while in a coma…
