First there was the peace activist mama, now there’s a peace activist grandma

Dan Riehl blogs today about a Vermont grandmother by the name of Rosemarie Jackowski whom the AP has dubbed as an “unlikely peace activist.” Only thing is, once you read Dan’s post, you’ll realize that it’s not as “unlikely” for her to be a peace activist as the AP (predictably) makes her about to be.

As if Cindy Sheehan weren’t enough …

BTW, speaking of peace activists, have you ever noticed that most people who claim to be pro-peace and anti-war are really just anti-certain wars and not above using violence to force their “peaceful” agenda onto others (see here, here, and here also)?

There’s no such thing as anti-war. People are anti-American or anti-Republican or anti-Bush, but they are not anti-war. With all the conflicts going on in the world over the last twenty years or so, you never hear from these “anti-war” crowd unless it involves the U.S., hence the anti-American label.
