If liberals believe it's governments job to take care of things and throw money at problems, rather than doing it themselves (re the recent finding that conservatives contribute much more to charity than liberals), what does a liberal government do? Who do they get to take responsibility when they don't want to, to hold their hands, to hand out the money? Perhaps this is the root of Democrat politicians love affair with the UN. :-?
