I knew the creator of MST3K. We went to the same church and Church Youth Group in Green Bay. I got to talk to Joel Hodgson again back when he was a guest on TalkSpot.

He’s making toys in LA now.

Sev, I loved MST3K. LOL One of my favs was “I was a teenage Werewolf”. When the cop asks teenage Michael Landon why he threw the milk at another kid, Tomservo say….”It had bovine growth hormone in it and I thought he was turning into a cow”!!! Tooo funny.

I don’t know why we would abridge this man’s 1st amendment rights. HOW Dare we put this guy out when he is trying to make a political statement. That is how I see this. – Lorica

Why am I reminded of one Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode, where this guy on a motorcycle runs off the road and the bike bursts into flames, and the robot says “Another Buddhist biker immolates himself to protest the helmet laws.”

Like Phil, I’d have put out the tree and flag, but roasted some chestnuts over the man as I wished him a hearty “Merry Christmas.” I say that if a guy wants to light himself on fire to protest Christmas, the least we can do is let him enjoy it.

Just goes to show you the type of mentality the other side has when it comes to what they will go through to remove Christmas, crosses from graves, Ten Commandments, ect from the public forums.

This man was willing to kill himself, and that type fevered ‘worship’ of that type of ideals reminds me of another group willing to die and kill for their ideals……

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man used flammable liquid to light himself on fire, apparently to protest a San Joaquin Valley school district's decision to change the names of winter and spring breaks to Christmas and Easter vacation. The man, who was not immediately identified, on Friday also set fire to a Christmas tree, an American flag and a revolutionary flag replica, said Fire Captain Garth Milam. Seeing the flames, Sheriff's Deputy Lance Ferguson grabbed a fire extinguisher and ran to the man. Too many freaks on both coasts.
