Yeah I do believe the kid gloves are off when it comes to Iran, and the rebelion they are trying to spread in Iraq. Drudge has something about how part of the new strategy is to attack and destroy Iranian backed programs. – Lorica
Good!! It’s about time the gloves came off. We’ve been allowing Iran to foment terrorism in Iraq without fear of reprisal for too long.
The truly delicious part about this is that Iran claims this attack violates international law – you’re not supposed to attack consulates or embassies, you know.
The irony of that bit of hypocritical whining is apparently lost on them. And on our own leftists – but of course that’s to be expected.
And there’s no good evidence that this building was a “consulate” anyway, from what I’ve read. From all accounts, the Iraqi government doesn’t recognize it as such.

I hope they get something incriminating off of the computers they seized. That would be the icing on the cake.
