Face it, professional politicians do not give candid, tell all, no holds barred interviews, nor do they write books where they let it all hang out. Every word, every position is carefully crafted to have an effect. Everything is image - no politician, regardless of ideology, is really ever truthful in public. Their whole livelihood depends upon them selling themselves, so they are packaging a product. Some, like Obama at present, appear excessively cynical and manipulative, but it's still par for the course. And compared to Hillary or Bill, Obama is practically a wide eyed innocent. Even if his bio was not fictionalized, it certainly wouldn’t be truthful or candid, any more than the hundreds of self promoting books by politicians over the years have been.

I think this might be the first real dirt on Obama discounting the recent attacks on his name and education. He did not think too highly of white people in his youth, but this will probably energize his "progressive liberal" base.
