I do care that when his actual voting record from his stint in Illinois politics is discussed, he proves himself to be a very poor choice to lead our country. No platitudes about "change" or "unity" or "inclusion" can ever be enough for a thoughtful voter serious about selecting the best candidate. His positions on gay marriage, abortion, health care, to name a few, are way too far left at best, and just plain ignorant at worst. He is simply another lefty not worthy of the office. For the sake of my own entertainment, I counted and highlighted the cliches from Obama's speech announcing his run for the Democratic nomination. 126 cliches in total, and according to the C-Span video, it lasted 20 minutes (from 6:30 to 26:30). 6.3 cliches per minute. It's even worse than I thought; hiliarous and scary at the same time. Every time I hear Obama speak, I can’t help but laugh.
