I need to show this to the wife when she complains about the stuff in MY car.
That’s nothing!
When I was up in Mason City, this little old lady would come into the restaurant on either Friday or Sat. (all you can eat buffet night) at around 3 or 4 pm. She’d sit there all night, all the way till closing time.
Anywhooo, the first time I saw her car, I couldn’t believe it. It was stacked to the roof with opened mail, newspapers, magazines…you name it. And when I say it was stacked to the roof, I mean it. It was literally stuffed, packed, crammed in there. She had a little cubby-hole carved out for her to sit in on the driver’s side, and that was it.
Her car couldn’t have been more than a few inches off the ground from the weight.
How she never got arrested or even pulled over is beyond me, because she certainly couldn’t see out her rear-view mirror (or the rear window) and she couldn’t see out the passenger side door or see that mirror. Her only view was the front window, her door, and that mirror.
Looks like my apartment back in college.
