   Well, the latest blog kerfuffle is The Liberal Avenger rewriting a conservatives posted comment; Patterico has the story. LA doesn’t seem to think that he’s done anything wrong, and neither does Ilyka Damen of Pandagon.

   The difference? Conservatives are upset when liberals falsify what conservatives have written, and liberals are upset when conservatives point out the liberals’ actual words.

   A good opinion piece, but did you read the comments? They made Gerstein’s point. They nearly all amounted to creating and knocking down their own straw men, and “Oh, yeah? Well, you’re an a*****e!”

   Sad, really.

   benning, I noticed that too. Gerstein’s giving them wise counsel. With any luck they won’t listen.

   I liked the last line:

   And for god’s sake, please quit kissing Kos’s ring at his convention until he and his acolytes grow out of their high-tech tantrum tactics.

   Do you sense that a “screw him” moment is just around the corner?
