Of course, the makers of this video know that Gore’s suggestions of telecommuting and reducing air travel were not supposed to apply to him.

Liberals love to get preachy and pontificate about what sacrifices we’re supposed to make, but that doesn’t mean they will be making those same sacrifices. That’s only for the common herd of Americans, you see.

Like Ted Kennedy blathering on about the need for alternative energy sources. Just make sure none of those damn windmills taint the ocean view he has from the Hyannisport compound. Let the commoners deal with those problems, not us liberals.

Like Nancy Pelosi nodding like a bobble-head doll gone mad in agreement with every demand made by AFL-CIO bosses. Oh, except the workers in her California vineyards all must stay non-union. Let the commoners deal with those problems, not us liberals.

Like John Kerry having the city of Boston move a fire hydrant because he wanted to park his SUV in front of his tony townhouse. The rest of us aren’t even supposed to own those awful SUVs (just ask Bob, he’ll tell you), much less have the city spend money to keep us from walking 20 feet. Let the commoners deal with those problems, not us liberals.

Like the Clintons and other liberals who frenetically oppose school voiuchers for the poor and insist on keeping city children in failing schools. But each and every one of them makes sure their kids get into an exclusive private establishment like Sidwell Friends, rather than put them in the public schools. Let the commoners deal with those problems – we liberals deserve better.

Rosie O’Donnell and firearms. Any number of Hollywood libs who are all for eliminating private beachfront ownership in SoCal…except for the tracts they own. And this doesn’t even scratch the surface.
