Don’t you know Bak, nothing Bush does will ever satisfy the leftists. If Bush suddenly announced he had a cure for cancer, they’d complain that he was putting doctors and lab workers and researchers out of business, creating a new poor underclass while he made the rich richer. I don’t get the lefties spin on this one either. Bush’s federal budget spends more per year on climate change than ANY OTHER COUNTRY, plus his house is eco-friendly yet Common Dreams lefties are so full of BDS that they can’t speak with any perspective. Common Dreams folks are out to lunch.

The 4,000-square-foot house is a model of environmental rectitude. Geothermal heat pumps located in a central closet circulate water through pipes buried 300 feet deep in the ground where the temperature is a constant 67 degrees; the water heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer. Systems such as the one in this "eco-friendly" dwelling use about 25% of the electricity that traditional heating and cooling systems utilize. A 25,000-gallon underground cistern collects rainwater gathered from roof runs; wastewater from sinks, toilets and showers goes into underground purifying tanks and is also funneled into the cistern. The water from the cistern is used to irrigate the landscaping surrounding the four-bedroom home. Plants and flowers native to the high prairie area blend the structure into the surrounding ecosystem. No, this is not the home of some eccentrically wealthy eco-freak trying to shame his fellow citizens into following the pristineness of his self-righteous example. And no, it is not the wilderness retreat of the Sierra Club or the Natural Resources Defense Council, a haven where tree-huggers plot political strategy. This is President George W. Bush's "Texas White House" outside the small town of Crawford.

Link The rest of the article is telling too. Rather than heap praise on Bush, as they would if this were the Gorebot, the author devolves into an anti-Bush BDS tinged rant about how bad Bush is for the environment. Typical, but the fascinating thing is, Bush walks the walk that Gorebot only talks about.

I’m betting Gore will try to explain it away by claiming he bought ‘carbon credits’ or some such nonsense. Basically, he’ll say he paid to use the electricity not being used by a couple of dozen peasants in North Korea, so it’s OK seeing as he donated to the Sierra Club.

It’s the usual feeding cry of the self-serving leftist (scientific name limousinus liberalus hypocritus): do as I say, not as I do.

It looks like Al Gore’s energy usage is an inconvenient truth.

Although I love alot of the movies that come out of Hollywood, it looks like they just exposed themselves as a bunch of idiots and frauds.

First they give a ton of awards to the Dixie Chics, then they give Al Gore an award for his movie. I think we all know that these awards are politically motivated.
