Hillary Clinton is appearing across the street from me tonight. I won’t bother crossing that street to see the megalomaniac shyster. Besides, she’s only seeing a priveleged few Democrats anyway, although it is billed as a “Listening Tour Event”.

Wanted to point folks — particularly your fellow NC fans — toward the developing battle in Charlotte. A grassroots effort is trying to get a repeal of a half-cent mass transit sales tax on the November ballot.

The tax throws off about $65 million a year and fuels a wild pro-train, anti-car Smart Growth agenda. In the past week the Powers That Be in Charlotte have suddenly noticed that the repeal idea is wildly popular with local folks. Their response? An all-out smear campaign.

Now, the local Chamber of Commerce has made clear its intention to support the Smart Growthers. The pro-freedom, pro-human side needs all the help it can get in a key fight against big government/business.

Our biggest weapon? Sunshine and truth. So I immediately thought of Sister……
