Do Democrats stand for anything?

To recap:

—- They ran from Cindy Sheehan and her anti-war pals at a scheduled press conference in early January.

—- One of them surrendered to the Nutroots by refusing to do anything about recently hired potty-mouthed Christian-hating bloggers.

—- They caved to the Nutroots again this week by backing out of a scheduled debate in Nevada because it was co-hosted by the evil “Faux News.”

—- Rather than stand strong and pass something binding, House Democrats passed a wimpy non-binding resolution which expressed ‘opposition’ to the President’s surge plan back in February.

Now, we find out that the Dems are backing off their plan to severely limit the President’s authority to authorize war against Iran, citing ‘concerns about the possible impact on Israel’ – riiight.

We also now know that House Democrats don’t plan to “whip” the Iraq supplemental spending bill, because:

Uh huh. I mean, we know the Dems would never play political games over matters of war and peace, would they?

If these people believe so strongly in what they initially advocate and really believed the American people put them in office because of their call for “change”, they why the hell won’t they put their damn money where their big mouths are?

In the meantime, Moron.Org recently released the results of surveys they commissioned in several “battleground districts” and “found” so-called “broad support” for a cut and run strategy. I guess they figure if they can’t get their ‘leadership’ to do their work for them, they’ll push vulnerable Democrats in “conservative-leaning districts” to. Political pressure on issues of war and peace? Democrats? Naw …
