[...] From science to psuedoscience, Sister Toldjah tells us about Charles Krauthammer’s critique of the latest diagonsis of Dick Cheney by the New Republic. Personally, since Cottle evidently is trying to pass herself off as some type of expert on mental health, I wonder if she'd be willing to diagnose this? Or this? Or this? Or this? Or … [...]

What's wonderful about this column is that Krauthammer has the medical background to debunk this garbage. This is no layman taking on the obvious faults - it's an authority on the subject.

What is it with liberals suddenly claiming scientific or medical expertise? First divinity school dropout and internet inventor al-Gore, now we have this one. Wonder what her medical credentials are? Here ya go:

Michelle Cottle has been a senior editor at The New Republic since February 1999. She is a 1992 magna cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in English and a minor in European Studies.

Prior to joining tnr, Cottle was an editor of The Washington Monthly for two years. She has also worked for the Tom Peters Group, editing its monthly newsletter; served as an editorial fellow at Mother Jones magazine, and has done freelance writing, editing, and commentary for CNN, The New York Times, Time, Slate, The Atlantic and George magazine, among others. Cottle is a regular panelist for the PBS political affairs show, "Tucker Carlson Unfiltered."

Yeah, I missed the reference to scientific or medical studies in there too.

Charles Krauthammer has a brutal column up in today's Washington Post called Diagnosis Cheney, focusing on a hit piece by Michelle Cottle in the liberal New Republic. The thrust of Cottle's article, apparently, is an attempt to diagnose the Vice...
