If I were Walter E. Wallis's wife, I get a t-shirt emblazoned that reads: I'm with Walter!

I'm sick and tired of the pandering and appearances factors. There is no appeasing these morons so use both barrels and reload. I care no longer if they'll ever get it. Their heads are not in a position to get anything bright! :-w

The Bush Administration has its defenders, as well as Democrat enemies, nonplussed. It can act brilliantly one moment, then do something that even a cretin could have foreseen would cause trouble. (And refusing to fight Democrat fire with GOP fire makes my head feel like it's going to explode.) At times, I have attributed this to Bush's religious convictions (e.g., not prosecuting outgoing Clintonites for trashing offices, not cleaning out liberal holdovers, immigration), because he is in control of policy. At other times, actions which Bush was obviously involved in appear to be dunderheaded. My only path to sanity is to keep reminding myself that Gore and Kerry would have been 1000 times worse.

Some day someone will explain why bush is so reluctant to defend his office. Were I president and the Senate passed a bill like that, I would have shut off the electricity to the Senate offices.

I don't know what to say here. So why am I writing.... 8-|

just kidding.

The Senate just passed a bill 94-2 I think that limits the WH's ability to hire new attorney's unless approved by the Senate. I'm sorry. Even as a lay person I find it hard to believe the Senate is doing this as it has EVEN been admit in leftist circles that the WH can fire the attorney's for any reason. They serve the president.

This would be like the WH passing an executive order saying it has to approve of new hires to Pat Leahy's staff no?
