Which would be similar in nature to the feel-good ‘carbon offsets’ we hear so much about from the prophet and Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards, among others?
Jules Crittenden makes the call and cites examples of liberal ‘moronocy’, while Don Surber follows up with his suggestions:

I know, contributions to the Pew Charitable Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the United Nations or some other high-sounding lefty group. Because just as sticking a twig in the dirt in Kenya does not offset running the AC 24/7 365 in Tennessee, there is no way to offset the deflation to the world’s cumulative IQ done by some of these lefties.
Readers, how about a few more suggestions on those Moron Offsets? 
This is fun! I never rake my lawn, and get Offsets from the people who hire folks who use fossil-fuel powered leaf blowers and don’t have working chimneys so don’t burn the wood from trees growing on their yards who charge me for Offsets because I burn wood and we all add to Carbon Dioxide which Daddy Gore says is bad except when plants use it and Mommy Earth has a fever and IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?

We already have a huge moron offset - it’s called Welfare.
