Selling global warming alarmism for cold hard cash

Iain Murray at NRO’s Planet Gore blog writes today about one of the leading IPCC scientists who is cashing in on global warming alarmism:

Via Roger Pielke Jr, we have the unedifying spectacle of at least one leading IPCC scientist engaged in selling alarmist predictions of what climate change might do to your property in a new venture called Climate Appraisal Services LLC. If you get a free report, you get temperature measurements for your address, some information about UV radiation and some chilling maps of how much of the USA will be under water if sea level rises 20 feet (and we can’t be bothered to build sea defenses, presumably).

What can you get for $30? Read the rest here.

“sea level rises 20 feet”, Oh, my Gawd! I have two choices living on this tidal Long Island Sound cove;build and invest in a marina/restaurant that I will never see keep a dingy floating for 24 hours in my lifetime, or keep making fun of the “Man who thinks he’s President of the Planet”. I choose the latter.

Global warming alarmism is all about the cold hard cash; consider how many billions the U.S. alone spent last year on researching it… :-?
