Media Matters for America, the group headed by conservative turned liberal writer David Brock, has changed course on its stated association with billionaire liberal financier George Soros.

After initially claiming on Dec. 1, 2004 that “neither Media Matters nor its president and CEO David Brock has received any money from Soros or from any organization with which he is affiliated,” the group is no longer disavowing any connection with groups “affiliated” with Soros.

The Media Matters shift came after Cybercast News Service questioned the group’s financial ties and demonstrated that there were numerous and extensive links between Media Matters and several Soros “affiliates” like MoveOn.org, the Center for American Progress and Soros ally Peter Lewis.

This is akin to the same liberal lies like “we never took any money from Abramoff!” He didn’t hand it to you directly, but he gave it to another group to hand to you, so that’s completely different! More of what the meaning of “is” is, lies, distortions, and misrepresentations. All part and parcel of the wonderful democrat/liberal shell game.

I think liberals believe honesty is a mental disorder.

It appears that MSNBC and WFAN radio are going their separate ways. MSNBC is apparently replacing Imus with a conventional news program (we’ll get back to that in a minute), while WFAN will for two weeks double pump their afternoon sports guys, Mike Francesa and Chris “Mad Dog” Russo in morning drive as well. As Francesa and Russo said at the end of their afternoon drive show Friday afternoon: “we’re just doing this for two weeks to give the station time to right the ship.”

What they did NOT say (and probably don’t know yet) is which shift they’ll end up doing. It’s possible that WFAN, which does sports talk except during morning drive, will now go to sports in the morning as well.

If so, then I assume it means that Les Moonves, CEO of CBS (if he’s even that closely involved with this issue considering he’s probably devoting most of his time for getting next season’s schedule in order by next month’s upfront), has decided shock jocks are not the way to go–at least not on a sports talk station.

As for MSNBC, they’re in a terrible bind. They are going with a no-name news show just when CNN is fixing to roll out their new anchor team of John Roberts and Kiran Chetry, who start Monday. Probably not what they had in mind.

Sharpton actually lauded Muhammad for being nothing less than “a very articulate and courageous brother.”

Wasn’t someone chided not long ago for a statement similar to this? Or is it just the word articulate and who says it that alters the meaning of reality?

The episodes discussed in this article barely scratch the surface of what Sharpton has done to poison race relations for more than 20 years.

It is amazing that this clown is somehow seen as anything but divisive and an extreme racist bigot! He should make the payment awarded here
