Well, no. First of all, who made the people of Lebanon ‘Hezbollah’s people’? They’re an Iranian financed and organized terror group. Second, you have a bizzare concept of words like ‘protect’ and ‘coward’. See, when a solider protects the civilians, he stands between them and the enemy attacking them. That’s what the IDF does. For Hezbollah to get at Israeli civilians, they have to get past the IDF first. That’s how all civilized armed forces operate. We do the same, as do the British, Australians – heck, even the French understand that. Got the concept? Go back and read it slowly if it’s difficult. We’ll wait.

OK, now let’s compare that to Hezbollah. Their idea of ‘protecting’ civilians is to refuse to let them leave the battle zone and hide behind them. Got the difference? And there’s another word for hiding behind the civilians: cowardice.

That’s not entirely accurate.

That said, I think anyone who doesn’t recognize the atrocities commied by both Israel and groups related to or supporting Palestine, Hezbollah, etc. are pretty one sided. Both sides of this conflict are equally responsible at this point for the deaths and violence that happens there.

Now, after all this time, of Hezbollah constantly coming at Israel asking for their release, told Israel they will take action if they are not released. (4 months before the soldiers were taken. Still, Israel did not do anything and brushed it aside, and that is when Hezbollah took the 2 soldiers. Hezbollah kept them safe and just used them as a barginning tool so they can get their civilians back, and also wanted the realese of around 1,000 INNOCENT palestinians who are suffering torture in Israeli jails today, 300 or so which are children!!! And you think Israel are good people and Hezbollah are bad… Israel, who killed over 1,000 innocent people and barely killed any Hezbollah in a war against Hezbollah. Then, Hezbollah who was forced into war to protect it’s people, who couldn’t do much because Israel fought like cowards and would just fly planes and bomb innocent targets, and still were able to target Israel military strong points and barely killed civilians, all by using rockets with no navigation.

You have to understand that anti-Semitism (and pro-Arab sentiment) is rife amongst the Left here–worse even than in the States.

I’ve hung an Israeli flag (regulation 3′ x 5′) behind my desk, next to my lovely Stars and Stripes, just to piss off my co-workers.

I’m thinking of putting up a banner, too: ‘Israel: The Promised Land!’

I seem to recall that war was started when Hezbollah attacked and killed Israeli soldiers and then kidnapped one, yet it’s Israel’s fault? What have they done to protest the terrorists action? What about the journalists in Lebanon who were led, by gun toting thugs, and told which scenes to shoot? They don’t have a problem with that either? Absolutely disgusting.

That’s ok, journalists, there was a guy who blamed all the worlds ills on the Jews a few decades ago…..things didn’t work out to well for him.
