Based on their recommendations, they sound like child molesters. This runs along side of issues we’re experiencing here in Illinois, where High School District 214 was dealing with a controversy surrounding the mandated reading of several books that contain graphic descriptions of various forms of sexual activity. Why not just hold up a Hustler centerfold in their faces or make them watch porn? What these and the perverts at SIECUS are doing for our kids is criminal. Concerned Women for America has a piece about the abstenance lie at their website. It appears that they are judging the program based on examples where it was presented to younger kids without follow up. The kids did not have any further instruction or reinforcement. Where kids did have such reinforcement, the program should great results.

The only problem is that none of the 4 programs was “abstinence only.” They were all 4 abstinence education, in addition to the normal sex ed curriculum.

Is Abstinence-Only Sex Education Too Explicit?

Once you tell kids to abstain from sex until marriage, you have already told them too much. We need more ignorance about sex, not less.
