You’re a better political junkie than me. I’m going to a concert instead. It’s not like any of the candidates will have enough time to really say something interesting (or stupid).

You should count how many times Reagan is mentioned. I’d say turn it into a drinking game, but I think you’d get blitzed half-way through the opening statements.

Also, any prediciton of who will be the GOP’s Mike Gravel? I’m going with Ron Paul who on the war has sounded too much like a Kossite.

Rudy took it, for sure. I’ve been reading a lot of blogosphere commentary to the contrary, but he’s the only leading figure that came off as genuine in his answers. Many of Romney and McCain’s answers on questions frankly sounded like bad prose lifted from scripts from of old West Wing episodes.

Although, I have to say that Huckabee was pretty good and I think he’s setting himself up nicely for the #2 spot. His answer on the “what letter grade would you give to the Bush adminstration on Iraq” was fantastic.

Only able to catch the last 30 minutes but your coverage was excellent as usual.
spittin chrissie matthews sucked big time, would not even give em time to half way answer the dumbest questions I have ever heard, especially the one about bill being back at the WH.
I liked the way Mitt came across and even though I disagree with Guillani on his abortion stand he was strong on terrorism and explaining the threat and did great on the difference between Sunni and Shite, probably explained it to the idiots moderators.
Felt sorry for Tancredo cuz he was ignored and I love his stand on immagration and as I have stated I will not vote for any conservative unless he is strong on that isssue. Would only vote for one if hillary had a major chance of getting in, spose I’d have to hold my nose. I do hope the American people let it be known that we DEMAND ILLEGALS have to be stopped.

Format hurt all – time constraints too tight. Several silly, time-wasting questions. Many, many Americans are worried about outsourcing our industries and insourceing the 3rd world via mass, illegal immigration. Not much said about that. MSNBC employs Chris Mathews and K.O. I think it’s quite apparent that these 2 are amongst the most liberally biased commentators on television today.

Why would MSNBC use either one of these 2 characters for election coverage or to moderate a debate? Everyone knows that they have an agenda.

It basically just tells everyone that MSNBC has the same agenda. IMHO, MSNBC is more liberal than CNN due to the fact that they employ these 2 clowns and use them to cover elections, moderate debates, etc.

MSNBC is not allowed on in my home, and therefore I did not watch the debates. As a responsible voter, you would expect me to watch. But, as I know what MSNBC is all about, why would I watch Chris Mathews trying to make the republican candidates look bad?

Why not have Ann Coulter moderate the next moonbat debate. Thats about the equivilent of what we witnessed on msnbc. The only thing worse would have been the washed out fired sportscaster keith olbernut moderating.

The Dem candidates would have a oollective stroke if they had to face Ann and real hardball questions instead of the puff they get from their allies in the media.
