It’s getting to the point where the whacky protesters can say or do anything. I’m so sick of them.
I’m waiting to see the outcome of the rubber bullet investigation in the May day ILLAGAL demonstration.
There was a so called civil rights atty. on msnbc yesterday with Larry Elder, who was a great fill in for Imus, better rhan the left leaning stephanie before, but anyway he is already taking tons of clients ILLEGALS wanting to sue the cops and he is black so of course he is saying THEIR ILLEGAL CIVIL RIGHTS were mega violated. I hear there is much more to the tape we are being shown but the msm will probably NEVER show all of it. I probably woulda fired a rubber bullet or two myself if what I heard they did was true. THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS TO BE HERE ILLEGAL, PROTEST IN A MARCH AND DEMAND MY COUNTRY GIVE EM AMNESTY AND FULL HUMAN RIGHTS. I’m sorry, that just ain’t right and I’m still waiting for someone other than Tancredo in the Prez race to grow some and get serious about this crap.

I wait for the day when the organizers of one of these riots gets felony conspiracy time. Odd that judges give a gentle slap to someone who succeeds in shutting down a city, but throw the book at you if you contradict them in court.

…..in light of Miller’s article, that the NYPD had every right to worry and compile information on any person or group of people who were planning not merely to protest, but to create chaos by way of violence and other aggressive behavior.

A right to? They had better be compiling info as a normal and expected function period! There’s a couple rocks big enough to house everyone of these terrorizing basturds………..offshore no accounts. The anti for the anti-everything clowns needs to be an entirely different level of pain for them!

Time to re-instate work farms until the debt for their intentional destruction of private and public properties is paid in full. Second offense same story but you lose your citizenship, if in fact you are a US citizen in the first place.

I believe there is a great difference between those who wish to exercise their civil liberties…and those who wish to act out fantasies…I believe that the commissioner, Mayor Bloomberg, and most New Yorkers understand that difference.

Agreed, Leslie. And anyone who recalls the so-called ‘peace’ demonstrations on 30-some years ago knows, NC Cop’s also right – it’s a well-tested tactic.

But the NYT, amd most of the rest of the MSM for that matter, aren’t interested in that difference. They’re interested in painting a picture of peaceful flower children getting randomly billy-clubbed by jackbooted violent police. The truth of the matter is hardly relevant to their agenda.

As one who lives in New York and who was in town during the convention, I can say only that from what I saw the NYPD, as is normally the case under Commissioner Ray Kelly, acted with complete professionalism.

I believe there is a great difference between those who wish to exercise their civil liberties (the vast majority of the people who marched) and those who wish to act out fantasies (the small number of fanatics, nutballs, and the not-wired-well types). I believe that the commissioner, Mayor Bloomberg, and most New Yorkers understand that difference.

Classic tactic. They abuse or physically assault a police officer which produces a well deserved a** whipping and all they release are videos of the police jumping on people and arresting them. Then they claim they were “peacefully” protesting and the MSM eats it up.
