PCD had a specific example of a nutroots ex-GI in mind Mekan, he wasn’t making a blanket condemnation of lower ranking NCOs. But I see he’s already clarified. The person in question would be at best a civilian in uniform, on his good, sober days, on other days I think he’d be considered a liability at best.

Mekan, right, an not all enlisted try to make command decisions or write policy either. The history with Tommy is that he was a radioman who never expanded his horizons and never commanded anything, yet he knows how to run everything. How many unit cancers like that have you run across?

Tommy, you know nothing and contine to know nothing. You know what you get when you let E4s and E5s run the country? Let me remind you of a few where that happened. 1930s Germany, Uganda under Idi Amin, and Lybia under self promoted Col. Khaddafi.

Why don’t you try to go to Cuba or Zimbabwe and sit on your dupa and just smoke pot all day? Leave the world to the adults.

I served, not in wartime, but I served. When I served It was with many Democrats. Some of those Democrats were very liberal, socially and fiscally. None of those that served, Democrat or other, that would approve of what Congress is doing right now.

Would some want to have never gone to Iraq? Yep. Would some think they should be pulled from Iraq now? Yep. That is true no matter what the party affiliation. But the military is a brother/sisterhood and above all else they care about eachother. The funding issue is hurting their brothers and sisters.

Another thing I need to say here. There are three types of soldier in the Army. I only know the Army, but assume it is the same for the other services. There is the civilian in uniform trying to get benifits and better their lives. There is the politician, joining to update their resume. Finally, there is the warrior, the true soldier. I was a civilian in uniform. I wanted to be the true warrior, but I could not dedicate myself as a warrior must. Above all else, our soldiers are Americans from all walks and political makeup that exists in America.

All soldiers in the combat zone are now warriors, no matter how they started. Those that have joined and re-uped are true warriors. I know I owe them all my admiration, love, and support.

tommy in nyc, its easy to say you haved served, kinda like all the folks who call Washington Journal and claim to be soldiers who hate the war and Bush and Republicans who hate Bush and say they were lied to.
If you were in the military my hats off to you but I’d like proof, I’d like to see a picture of you near Iraq, I’m kinda suspiscious (sp).

Mekan, given the judical system Iraq was operating under, it makes sense that he would lend his expertise. Our system is far from perfect but it’s vastly superior to what they had. I just wish that the GOP would grow a flipping spine and start to stand up to the demoncrats.

Just what we need in Iraq…more lawyers.

As a member of the Gang of 14 and McCain-Feingold contributor, Senator Graham is unfit to protect the Constitution. This photo op.

On the other hand….not to sound quite so harsh on the RINO, Senator Graham did co-sponsor and amendment to 1591 that would remove the troop withdraw timetable. The amendment failed with the help of Senator Hagel.
