Interestingly enough, my local newspaper carried the story, but made no mention of the harsh words from the left. They never mentioned how the left turned on her after she started criticizing the democrats.

Interesting article by al-AP writer Angela Brown:

‘It’s up to you now’: Sheehan quits.

In Brown’s puff-piece, a brief mention of Mother Sheehan’s travails with the Democrat Party was stuck in towards the end of the article. It is common practice for newspapers to sometimes use only the first few paragraphs of a story by wire services like al-AP. This disagreement with the hard Left does not appear until the 10th paragraph.

At any rate, the MSM cut off Mother Sheehan’s publicity – which is like oxygen to her. This al-AP article is the MSM equivalent of a testimonial dinner in her honor. Then it’s lights out, thank you for coming, and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

A Boston University professor by the name of Andrew Bacevich, who wrote an anti-war article in Sunday's Washington Post, is going to be the new, improved Cindy Sheehan. He's literate, well-spoken, and not an embarrassment to the left with whacko-stops to hug Hugo Chavez. If you read her recent diary on the Lost Kos, it becomes obvious that she was simply used by the left -- and she's finally figured that out.
