"Bears by 3" was a clownish prediction, and I promise to wear a clown suit at a time of my own choosing. My only defense is that the "Walter Payton" spirit who claimed to be communicating with me turned out to be the the spirit of Mrs. Joan Payton, origninal owner of the New York Mets. In any case, good Repubs know how to admit their mistakes, and move on.
