Joe’s still a garden variety liberal on most issues.

National defense and the GWOT are the exception. There, he sees the threat and the required response clearly. If he switched parties he’d be a RINO on everything else – hardly a member of the VRWC. The only practical reason to hope for him to switch is to bring the roster count to 50-50.

I’ve been saying for awhile that we should do “surgical” strikes on places in Iran that we know have been providing ordnance to the terrorists in Iraq.

As for Mr. Lieberman, he’s still basically a liberal on most other issues.

With about 60 plus seconds left on the vid Joe states, “I wanna make it clear that I’m not talking about a massive ground invasion…….(About 40 seconds later, interviewer dude asks) Wouldja go in on the ground or wouldja do that from the air? Do these people even listen to the answers?
