Joe Lieberman visits Iraq …

… and files this report.

Once again, one of the few sane voices on the left speaks truth to power on the issue of the war in Iraq. It’s no wonder they hate him so much.

I can’t understand why Joe still caucauses with the Dems. I mean it would be a whole different story if so many Dems hadn’t stabbed him in the back. Here again, we have his opinion differing greatly from the idiot that is the Dem Leader of the Senate. Great editorial Joe, I just hope someone besides those who are in agreement with you reads it. – Lorica

“I can’t understand why Joe still caucauses with the Dems.”

Because he’s a spineless opportunist who would be meaningless if not for his swing potential right now.

If he actually manned up and joined the Republicans, since he *is* one in everything but name, he’d have a lot less clout.

He has SBVT ties. He endorses Bill Kristol. He spreads lies about Iraq like most war mongers. He advocates censorship.

He is a political whore and quite frankly I’m glad he was beat.

And he didn’t get “stabbed in the back”, he was just not chosen. Would the Republicans vote in a primary on someone who, for example, supported universal health care? Would it be back stabbing not to vote them in?

He’s been there, have you? l-)

Because you REALLY know what it’s like in Iraq, right Angryflower? Which of your far left masters has told you what to think about Iraq?

    He advocates censorship.

    Your evidence of this please?

He is a political whore and quite frankly I’m glad he was beat.

There you have it folks. Walk the company line and do as your told and you are the choice for VP just a short 7 years ago. However, if you go to Iraq and actually see with your own eyes what is going on and you DARE to come back and disagree with the dems, you’re a political whore.

Just the latest from the “Do as I say, not as I do” democrats.

  5. Severian says:

He was beat (sic) eh AF? He’s still in the Senate, is that what you call a Pyrrhic victory for your side? :d Some defeat for ol’Joe eh?

  6. Great White Rat says:

OK, Let’s have some fun with this one. Time for another reading from the Angryflower-to-English dictionary:

    he’s a spineless opportunist

Translation: he thinks for himself instead of having George Soros dictate what he believes.

If he actually manned up and joined the Republicans, since he *is* one in everything but name, he’d have a lot less clout.

Translation: he only votes the liberal line 95% of the time, and we have no tolerance for people who don’t follow Commissar Dean’s orders.

He has SBVT ties. He endorses Bill Kristol. He spreads lies about Iraq like most war mongers. He advocates censorship.

Translation: I have no evidence for any of these, but Kos told me to say them, and I’m not much except a sock puppet for the nutroots anyway…

He is a political whore and quite frankly I’m glad he was beat.

Translation: I wanted him to get beat, but he didn’t, so I’m sure Halliburton or Diebold arranged to steal the election for him.

By the way….did anyone else here notice the hate running through AF’s post? And all this time the libs try to tell us they’re the compassionate ones. ;)

  7. Angryflower says:

    “Your evidence of this please?”
“Translation: I have no evidence for any of these,”

SBVT: Google Sam Fox, or just SBVT and Lieberman.

Kristol: “”If Kristol says what I’m doing is right, it must be right.” – Joe Lieberman”

Never mind Kristol donated to his campaign.

Censorship: Did you miss the 80’s?

Oh wow, better not post *that* one, Kos said not to put down AlGore!

Some pretty neat generalizations there that have nothing to do with my points.

    “notice the hate running through”

Whatever. This isn’t afternoon tea, and your dripping sarcasm isn’t exactly motivated by friendship.

  8. Angryflower says:

“Just the latest from the “Do as I say, not as I do” democrats.”

Bush is doing really well with you guys lately eh? Why is that exactly?

  9. Angryflower says:

    “Some defeat for ol’Joe eh?”

That’s exactly the point. He didn’t do it through his own party primary did he?

  10. NC Cop says:

LOL!! That’s it?! That’s all you got?! A link to the world socialist website (how telling) about Gore and Lieberman wanting to clean up dirty movies and games?! Oh yes, he truly is a fascist! It’s hard to believe he lasted as long as he did in the democratic party.

The other article was just as interesting. I noticed it was written in Feb. 2006 when the dems were in the process of running Lieberman out of the party. I don’t suppose the “unbiased” Huffington Post had a motive for running that article when it did. Hmmmmmm. Do you honestly think that article would have been written if Lieberman hadn’t spoken his own mind instead of falling in line like the other democrats?

That’s exactly the point. He didn’t do it through his own party primary did he?

That’s exactly the point. He did it by being elected by the people he served, didn’t he? It didn’t matter to them what party affiliation he had. Gosh, he must be crushed!!

I also noticed you completely ignored the parts on Iraq. No comment? Or do you get your info on Iraq from the socialist website as well?

  11. Some argue that the new strategy is failing because, despite gains in Baghdad and Anbar, violence has increased elsewhere in the country, such as Diyala province. This gets things backwards: Our troops have succeeded in improving security conditions in precisely those parts of Iraq where the “surge” has focused.

Meanwhile those with BDS are committed to ignore any thing good and in fact lie about results contrary to their agenda. My disdain and disgust for this specie of imbecile is fueled by the simple fact that their lies encourage the terrorists and get good people killed! Their aiding and abetting the enemies of Iraq are IMO traitorous. They ought to be prosecuted and hanged for their treasonous undertakings. Because their poisonous endeavors are resulting in prolonging the war effort, one wonders why they would go to such great lengths, unless their willingness to be a tool for anarchy is somehow more appealing than freedom and life in general!

The clueless swarm of flies that persist in *reporting* the propaganda are simply an agenda driven self-loathing moral vacua, incapable of foresight and long in forgetful hindsight. They have more vitriol and hatred for our troops and the Iraqi people, than Carter has peanuts. IMO the unmitigated drivel when they claim to support the troops is an absolute load of crap from veritable anarchists, who minimally deserve to be ignored for their lies and hate filled lives.

Thanks Joe for not being counted among the acquisitive sots that make up most of the dhimmicrap gang!

  12. CZ says:

Sheesh….After reading the Opinion Journal piece I was gonna ask if this Lieberman feller was the same guy who was a running mate with Algore. Until I read the comments.

Angryflower? Is that another name for crabgrass?:-?

  13. Great White Rat says:

This isn’t afternoon tea, and your dripping sarcasm isn’t exactly motivated by friendship.

Nope, but it’s not pure vitriolic hate for anyone who has an independent thought. That’s reserved for you.

  14. Lorica says:

Flower can you name 2 Dem senators who caucused with Joe prior to the primary?? – Lorica

  15. Great White Rat says:

A simulataneous display of bile and ignorance from Angryflower:

If he actually manned up and joined the Republicans, since he *is* one in everything but name,

Let’s examine that, using the assumption that the GOP is more conservative and the Dems are more liberal. I can’t see anyone disputing that premise.

The American Conservative Union rates all Senators and Congressmen annually (100 = pure conservative, 0 = pure liberal). So let’s see how Joe stacks up on that scale.

For perspective, Ted Kennedy’s lifetime rating is 2.5.
John Kerry’s the conservative MA senator – he’s at 5.6.

Obama gets an 8.0, Hillary checks in with 9.0. DiFi is at 10.1. Edwards scored an even 10.0 in his career.

RINO republicans: Snowe 49.9, Specter 44.7, Collins 53.9.

So where’s Lieberman? He’s at 16.8. Not even close to GOP territory.

    But here’s the gem:

    Harry Reid is at 19.9!!

Which means if AF really wanted to dump Dems who are close to being Republicans, Dingy Harry would go before Joe. Or AF really has no clue about their records and is just repeating whatever mantra the Kossacks have implanted most recently. I vote for option B. :d
