Gulianni doesn't think he can win it too many hicks, and McCain can't afford it. Drudge is reporting that McCain only has 2 million of cash on hand, that isn't anywhere near enough. These guys all started this process way to soon. Speaking of the Iowa Straw Poll, whispers in the highest levels of the Republican party say that Gingrich has made inquires into buying a space for it. He probably thought his maverick label would survive another campaign run. What McCain still hasn't grasped is conservatives who vote in Republican primaries vote for conservatives. McCain's popularity comes from moderates and independents. He also thought being a war hero and supporting the Iraq War were enough. Not this time around.
