I have an idea – pick a country like oh… Sweden, France, Cuba, Germany, etc., and picture what would happen if you dumped 12 million illegals on the doorstep that get the kind of services they do here. Betcha they go into complete meltdown and do NOT provide freebie education and emergency medical attention like we do.

US law says that anyone including illegals are entitled to emergency medical services and they get them around here just fine.

Let’s raise Michael Moore’s taxes to where he takes home what the average American takes home and then see him squirm about how that money is spent. Let’s also make sure that he has to go through the same crap that a Canadian has to go through to get a bypass when buttermilk and gravy start clogging up his tubing. Yep, I bet ol Michael will be singing a different song.

Danged easy for rich fatcats (pun intended) like him start to talk about how we need to provide this and that when he’s already got more loot than he can spend in his mercifully cholesterol shortened lifespan. Moore needs to actually work for a living and then perhaps he’s got a right to express an opinion on how much the rest of us should pay in taxes because he will be in the same boat… or barge in his case.

Boggling how it's considered *Free* health care when the ratio of taxes *Paid* are what they are in the EU...... Someone needs to remind me why so many Cubans escape their wunnerfull country every year........including doctors.

I saw the interview–more like a confrontation–between the Lupine one and the Porcine one on CNN, during the 7:00 p.m. segment, and I thought Wolf handled the situation well. Since it was quickly obvious that Michael, who seeks pub. like a heat-seeking missile seeks, well, heat, was simply going to blather on, Wolf decided to let him do so. And of course–at least to anyone unconvinced that Michael is the guardian of all that is true–he came across has a bullying, obnoxious, jerk.

Of course. As Robert A. Heinlein so famously said: TANSTAAFL! (Acronym for “there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.)

But look, folks, Cuba is no democracy, but the countries of the EU ARE. Their citizens have decided they prefer higher taxes and free health care. If that’s what they want, fine. But that doesn’t necessarily mean we should adopt their system wholesale.

Both CNN and the Obese One, Moore, relied a lot on statistical rankings. I say a raw ranking does not prove anything.

Moore did make one statement which was either a blatnat lie or shear ignorance. Moore described healthcare in most countries as “free and universal.”

Healhcare is commodity, to wit a product of human endeavor. No product of human endeavor can ever be free. Healthcare is provided and somebody must pay the providers.

I believe Moore stated that healhcare cost twenty-five dollar per person per year in Cuba. They might be the out of pocket expense. But twenty-five buck is not even enough to feed the roaches Cuba’a hospitals.

On second thought, maybe Moore is not fat, just consipated?
