Well said, Ruth. I saw an interesting article yesterday that noted that Iran has announced that it was prepared to fight Al Qaeda if they attempt to attack Iran as they have threatened to do. The author noted how ironic that the United States and one of our worst enemies, Iran, were prepared to fight Al Qaeda, but not the democrats. How revealing.

What President Bush did in the press conference today was to prove that he is not a lameduck lying abed in the morning and passing the day in robe and slippers just passing time till the end of his tenure. He is upbeat, fully aware and knowledgeable about the state of affairs in Iraq and what is in the best interests of the United States regarding that war. He is fully committed to victory in the WOT and will not abandon the mission or our troops to the political expediency of those on all sides who have a vested interest in America’s defeat. This American is very proud of his leadership and thank God that the alternative/defeatist crowd has not been able to hand victory to AlQuida.
