Thanks For Having Me!

Posted by: Brian on July 20, 2007 at 5:29 pm

Well, I’m assuming that ST will be back soon. She told me this gig was until around 4 pm, so I’m going to log off and get ready to head home from work.

I leave you with this clip from one of the funniest movies ever made…and this is, in my opinion, the best scene of the entire movie:

Ah, God bless Rodney. lol

Have a great weekend!

Update 8:45 PM – ST: Thanks, Brian, for a great day of guestblogging :) You did wonderfully, as always.

I’m just now eating dinner after taking what felt like a long winter’s nap, and am feeling a little groggy – I’ll be back to blogging in the morning. I have a ton of tips and news alerts in email to sift through, so I’m sure there will be no shortage of topics :)

“Hey Smails! My dinghy is bigger than your whole boat!”=))

I also love that scene, and then the one where they’re having dinner in the clubhouse and he mistakes Smails for a waiter. Later he asks Smails’ wife if she wants “to make $14 the hard way”. lol

Classic movie. Everytime me and the guys go golfing, we quote mindless stuff from it all day long. lol

    Best scene (paraphrased):

Rodney: I don’t know what’s going on. I’m playing terrible today!

Chevy: No no! No you’re uh… you’re not good.

A ton of great quotes in that movie.

“Spaulding, get your foot of the boat!”

    “Double-turd!”
    “Spaulding!”

“Don’t sell youself short, Judge…you’re a tremendous slouch.”

“So I got that going for me.”

    “Who stepped on the duck?”

    “FOUR!”
    (Ball hits judge in crotch)
    “I shoulda yelled ‘TWO’!”

    “So what? So let’s dance!”
(rips cover off golfbag to reveal a radio)

“Be the ball, Danny.” (this is the one most often quoted by us…usually while the other person is trying to putt)

    TONS more. lol

Hmmm: Brian was guesting for both you and me at the same time; think we can get a rumor started? :)
