Tom TB: I'm more concerned with what she does and as to having reactions to the unelectable HC, maybe I'm allergic.

I'd be somewhat interested in reading something more current from the Hildabeast. Perhaps a thesis on action/reaction or KOS and defect......whichever she FEEEEEELS more comfortable with. Can't have these self serving minions feeeeeeel uncomfortable!

As a hiring manager, I've had someone show up for an interview dressed like she was going clubbing (lots of cleavage showing). It made for an "interesting" interview. Needless to say she didn't get the job (she was also 30 minutes late).

I could care less with what she wears, I care about what she says. They printed exerpts of letters she wrote to a friend in the 60's in yesterday's NYT, and one sentence was telling; "If people react to you in the role of answer bestower then quite possibly you are". Sounds like the opposite of North Carolina's motto; "To be rather than to seem".

I just realized that I lied in my first paragraph. I am NOT sorry that hetero men like looking at attractive women.

Tough patooties.

Most hetero men like looking at attractive women. And no amount of feminist screeching is going to change it - sorry. That being said, I am not interested in Hillary's cleavage - even were she closer to my idea of an attractive woman physically, there's the whole question of her personality, which doesn't attract me. That whole confiscatory ideal of taking income and property for "the common good" coupled with her fury when any peon dares to object just doesn't add up to many quality intimate moments for me.

This is akin to what I have always considered the most idiotic aphorism ever, about not judging a book by it's cover. Oh, really? The author, editor, publisher, art director, and cover artist all have a vested interest in the potential buyer making a decision based on the cover. They WANT you to judge the book by the cover.

Likewise, women dress for effect. And then they castigate men for making assumptions about what effect they are striving for.

And there are still far too many people, like the ones quoted by Althouse, who want it both ways: I project whatever image I want, and you only respond in the manner I want you to. As for me, I try to keep eye contact. And then I find my gaze drifting elsewhere, and try, casually, to redirect it. That of course makes me a bad person, but considering that I do not respect the sort of person who would so classify me, I can comfortably live with that.

Fortunately I work in a career field short of cleavage so I may be judged on professional competence. If I had any, that is.
