I remember a piece of a George Carlin bit regarding taps. Every time he’d answer a phone he’d pick up the phone and say, “F**k Hoover!” Perhaps the pantswetters can simply adapt that technique to protest.

I’m checking for the vote too. My guys, Russ and Herb, from Wisconsin just can’t have gotten a clue overnight, since Herb is bragging up his new bill about predatory credit card companies in the midst of all the important stuff going on. Russ probably missed the vote since he had to be with the kos kids as he writes a blog for them so maybe neither of them did anything to harm the country……… this time. What does Harry have that is so important back home that he can subvert his principles and vote FOR something before he complains about it. What a bunch of dandies we have in Washington. ptooey

President Bush threatened to hold Congress in session into its scheduled summer recess if it did not approve the changes he wanted.

Ohhh Well, there is no way possible Congress is going to miss it’s month long vacation. Even tho outside of this piece of legislation and minimum wage, did Congress actually do anything this session?? Except stab out troops in the back continuously and try to legalize illegal aliens, did they do anything else?? I think that Congress should be on a pay for performance salary. These guys would owe salary for their lack of performance.

These people need to drop the “American” from their title. Foreign terrorists should have no civil liberties in this country. Well outside of a trial and a quick hangin’.

I guess this Dem majority ain’t about to change things like the people who voted for them thought they would. No wonder when it comes to the war these guys have a 3% approval rating. Nope it has nothing to do with ethics or character, just ask Bill “I did not have sex with insert name here” Clinton. The whole of the Dem leadership is infested with these people and I hope and pray that the people who are left in the Dem party have sense enough to get rid of them. – Lorica
