Pork comes from a magnificent beast who gives us pork, bacon, ham, sausage, pork rinds and even chitlins for the brave of heart (and nose/stomach). What does a cow give you? cow parts, and ground cow. That's it. That you guys would disparage such a grand beast is unconscionable. We should be raising our glasses to the great and noble beast that is <em>the hog</em> and immediately stop all this complaining about... Terms like venal, self-serving, greedy, sell-out, unprincipled, short-sighted, narrow, special interest, able to be bought, and lacking integrity are the sort of things that just naturally seem to apply to Congress. Is this what is really good for our country? I don't see how it can possibly be! Why do we continue to send these rascals to Washington? It seems to be in large measure because no honorable person will put up with all the personal badgering and financial pressure that is involved in running for office. We need to change this system in a major way!!
