Neal Boortz has the right idea - when a caller wants to discuss abortion, he thanks them for their time and hangs up.

We will have the luxury of bandying this issue about, after we defeat jihadofascism, balance the budget, get rid of the income tax, enact term limits for Congress (remember that?) and make the marigold the official U.S. national flower (thank you, Everett Dirksen).

- If Romney doesn't get it together soon, and it may already be to late, this channeling of sKerry, with the flip-flop flip-flop, may force me to take him off the VP short list, leaving only Condi and Thompson as possibles for Rudy's running mate.

Thank you Mitt Romney. Get the federal Government out of the rule making business. Then we can finally get past electing a president on the issue of abortion. Leave it up to the states. I can see how so many are confused. Mitt is so different and what he says is so far from the normal rhetoric that people fine it hard to believe. Where is the normal mainstream gibberish? go to the other candidates and you will find it. Looking closely he is the only one who makes sense, but you have to step back and think because he is in the business of think for yourself because his government will not do it for you and this is difficult when that is exactly what many want out of government. Then when things go wrong the blame can be placed elsewhere than themselves. Many see elected officials as "we elected you to do the job and I can live my life while you handle all the problems that I do not have time for". So where is the real problem?

I'm so glad you haven't fallen for Hugh Hewitt's pro-Romney spin. Frankly I'm surprised Hugh made a Romney fan out of Kathryn Jean Lopez at NRO.

Why the major Republican candidates just plain suck

It seems very unlikely to me that we’ll see an honest man win the Republican or Democratic presidential nomination.
