Of course it was.

John Hawkins appropriately calls Lewis on his ’satirical’ nonsense here.

  1. HuffPo Moonbat Calls For Military Coup

Possibly inspired by liberal heartthrob Hugo Chavez, who originally tried to take power in a military coup, Huffington Post’s insufferable Martin Lewis has called for a coup right here in the USA, on the grounds that his advanced BDS makes…

  2. Typical Liberal dodge- HuffPo columnist makes outrageous statements, then claims “it’s just satire”

Typical indeed.  Martin Lewis made some fairly idiotic comments in a post entitled “General Pace, You Can Save the US - by Arresting Bush for “Conduct Unbecoming”.

  1. From John Hawkin’s article:

    =========MARTIN RESPONDS==========
I utterly reject the use of any force or illegal action of any kind and specifically reject and condemn any calls for it. I do call on General Pace to speak his conscience and to do his ethical, moral duty to his forces and to his nation. Sometimes the right words from a man of courage have a moral impact that resonates.

This man was rightfully corrected in his own comments section regarding his seditious article. His response, like usual for a leftie, is a moronic attempt at logic. What kind of simpleton would not believe that you would have half of this country “up in arms” if Gen. Pace had taken this idiots advice. It is amazing how these good little goosesteppers, who hate the use of force, continue to desire GW overthrown at any cost. Goebbles would be so proud of this man, it just makes me sick. - Lorica

  2. Lorica,

No one is noting that this Goosestepper, Martin Lewis, wants people he loathes to do his dirty work for him and the other professional malcontents, of which I include tommy in nyc.

  3. Satire hmmm?

Same thing as a joke when they get caught and it is brought to the light to see how stupid these people are?

    We were only joking..

    hahaha

C’mon, laugh, it was a joke.

    Really it was.

    Why aren’t you laughing…..

  4. Sanity,

A botched joke maybe? The man got caught expressing his views on paper, realized he was out of line, so instead of realizing and admiting he was wrong, he tries to take it back by saying it was a joke.

Anyone who read the article knew that he was serious when he wrote it. Even readers of his blog corrected him. He is insulting those readers by telling them they don’t know humor when they see it.

The fact that the readers that called him out, are dems, let’s me know there are still logical thinking people in the dem party and there is still hope that we can all get along.

  5. Most lefties are completely unfamiliar with the oath sworn by every member of the armed forces, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. If they are aware of it, it’s just so many words to them. But to a soldier, sailor, airman or Marine, from the newest recruit to the thirty year veteran, the words are absolutely serious and are completely internalized. They literally are a life and death matter.

Nearly every member of the service would put his life on the line to prevent what Hawkins thinks, after the fact, is nothing but a ha-ha “what if.” It adds further insult for this weasel to “call on” General Pace to do his duty. Neither Pace, nor any other service member, needs this worm’s exhortation to be true to the oath.
