Revisiting Kerry and the Swift Boat vets
You gotta wonder: If the Swift Boat Veterans were such big liars, why has Senator Kerry let the statute of limitations for defamation lapse in each state he could have conceivably filed a lawsuit?
It’s one of those things that make you go “hmmmmm.”

That does make you go Hmmmmmm. You would think that if this man wanted to exonerate himself from these claims he would do whatever it takes to clear his “good” name. You would also think that he would go after some of the book money the swifties got from their publisher. You would also think that he would go after the publisher it’s self for printing these “lies”. After all John, has always been abit on the greedy side. Always trying to keep up with the Kennedy’s so to speak. His scheming nature always did have me on edge. He is always trying to calculate something, always trying to beat the odds. There is just something genuinely wrong with this man, maybe it is that he has been a liar for so long that even he can’t identify the difference between the truth and a lie. – Lorica

Maybe Kerry didn’t want a court affirming the Swiftie’s account of his actions in Vietnam.
Remember this is the same liar that told Tim Russert that he’d sign a full and free form 180 like Bush did, but he still hasn’t signed such a form and Tim Russert hasn’t pressed him on it, but has Russert ever taken such a slight from anyone in the GOP?
I believed the Swift Boat Veterans for truth. There wasn’t just a “he: said / “they” said situation but logically the claims Kerry was making were impossible and if anybody took the time to review the material they could only come to the same conclusions unless they weren’t logic oriented.

Over at Patterico, Beldar is offering Kerry the chance to take Beldar to court to prove the Swifties lied. Don’t look for the cowardly liar, Kerry, to take Beldar up on this offer.

….rumor has it that when John Edwards refused to take Mr Kerry’s case against the Swift Boat Veterans on a pro-bono basis, Kerry opted to let the statute of limitations run out.
Of course Kerry let the statute of limitations come out. As a public figure he could only have won his case by proving that the swiftboaters acted with malice and reckless disregard for the truth.
That would have been impossible, or close enough to impossible as makes no difference.
My goodness, you are such a hard hearted bunch! Don’t you think it could just be that Kerry is such a compassionate fellow that he just does not want to make an issue of this with his old buddies? As if he ever had a chance to win such a case!
10, No, John Friggin’ Kerry is a greedy, lying bastard. Kerry wants to be President…BAAAADDDDD! His lying didn’t get him there because the Swifties told the truth on him. Kerry wants to get even, but is such a bad liar that not even super-shyster Edwards could help him.
PCD, Here’s a link to John Kerry lying about being at a baseball game. In my opinion, the man doesn’t care what comes out of his mouth, he just wants to sound more important or great than he is. This is just one example of him lieing about something that doesn’t mean much, but it goes to show a pattern if you add it to what you’ve already read about him.

It seems to me that PCD is republican operative to seed hatred and deciet …I have a great deal of respect for Jhon Kerry service to this country in Vietnam two tours in which we should admired and give thanks too… but unlike republican Bush that did’t leave the mianland the Swift boat had to be part of typical republicans lies, redicule, deciet and hatred and it is the onlyway they can win (GOP)
I went and saw PCD…John Kerry says he threw his real medals/ribbons over the fence at the WhiteHouse, then he said they were copies or fakes, then he said they were real. Then he said he would sign a form revealing his military records and he still hasn’t.
Well, way to go david, typical BDS rant. Kerry was a callous, cynical manipulator who first tried to get out of service, then “volunteered” for the Navy Reserve (hey, it’s just like the Natl Guard, they never go anywhere!), got activated, then “volunteered” for Swift Boats as they were the closest thing he could find to PT boats like his idol JFK, and they were only patrolling safe waters, then when he realized he was going to be actually fighting, manipulated 3 Purple Hearts to get out. I have a friend, a former F4 fighter jock in Nam, who spent more time in the hospital for his one Purple Heart than Kerry did in Vietnam in total. If Kerry is so all fired proud of his “service” maybe he should sign that SF180 like Bush did, what say? What is Kerry hiding? I’d say, a possible less than honorable original discharge, later “corrected” by Carter, and the truth about his wounds and fitness reports.
But keep thinking Bush was a coward. I grew up around an Air Defense Command base that had these planes stationed there, and saw them take off often into intense and dangerous weather because the Soviets were once again probing for weakness, so off they went to intercept Soviet bombers in horrible weather conditions, day and night. And I saw them drop a lot of F102’s into the Gulf of Mexico, with attendant fatalities. You remember the Soviet threat don’t you dave, or does your Che t-shirt fit so tight it cuts off blood to your brain? The F102 had over 4 times the accident rate of the F16, a plane that earned the comforting nickname “lawn dart” so calling Bush a coward is typical, shall I say, chickenhawk liberal BS.
