Labor Day weekend open thread
Blogging will be sporadic this weekend – I suspect a lot of people are out of town enjoying the last holiday weekend before the fall starts, but if you haven’t headed out yet, be safe, have fun, and stay cool …
Here’s an 80s tune I love. “Alive and Kicking” by Simple Minds. Didn’t do as well as their mega-hit “Don’t You Forget About Me,” which became sort of a ‘cult classic’ thanks to the movie The Breakfast Club, but I always liked this one better:

Happy Labor day yall and by the way don’t join a union if you want to save YOUR MONEY and not have it go to a party you don’t support.
Was listening to left biased c-span this am and they were talking about how much tribute we ought to pay the 9/11 victims this year.
EVERY ONE OF THE LOONS FROM THE LEFT that called said only a moment of silence and most kept up the mantra that is was a inside job and quoated loose change garbage. 3000+ of our innocent people get killed by islamic facists and they want a moment of silence cuz they hate Bush. I am in more shock than I thought I could ever be by their insane comments this morning.
Wish they could use their pea brains and think once
WHAT IF clintoon HAD DONE SOMETHING but of course he was too busy playing cigars with monica, but that was a private sexual matter so ……. a moment of silence will not do — I WANT TO SEE A FULL TRIBUTE EACH AND EVERY YEAR.
